Global Climate Disruption

The popular term “global warming” is more appropriately retermed global climate disruption. Global climate disruption describes the observable and scientific data-based changes in climate patterns due to the average warming temperatures of the earth. The over production of the natural occuring substance called carbon dioxide has resulted in the process called global warming. As the atmosphere and the oceans warm its causing changes in wind currents, water currents, therefore changing and intensifying weather patterns leading to problems that will inhibit our ability to produce food, will reduce available fresh water, and will greatly intensify storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods, and other climate patterns. The effects of global warming and climate change is no longer in the future, it is occuring now. At a worldwide level droughts and floods are occuring in new places. Intense storms have already caused intense damage both in the United States and worldwide. These patterns of change are beyond our ability to undo, and will continue for many hundreds perhaps thousands of years. Our current hope is that we can slow down the production of CO2 there by slowing  furthur climate disruption, reducing the intensity of future climate change.
