SVSS will sponsor the Third Annual 350 Picture Event at Veterans Park in Bay City. The picture will be taken at shorty after Noon at the traditional location. There will also be a buffet lunch for those who desire it at G’s Restaurant in downtown Bay City.

Bangor Township and the Bangor Township Green Team will host the second annual Energy Expo and a township-wide fall clean-up day on Sept. 24.
The expo runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bangor Township Hall, 3921 Wheeler Road. The free event will feature a variety of vendors demonstrating alternative energy and cost-savings products. Attendees will also learn how to save on their energy bills.
S.V.S.S. will attend and have a table at the Energy Expo. Anyone who would like to help work at our table and share information call the S.V.S.S. office at 989-391-9889.
The Michigan Alliance for Environmental Outdoor Education will be holding a conference here in Bay City, Michigan.

S.V.S.S. is planning a “Sustainability Jam” featuring outdoor groups and music at Rattlesnake Ricks 708 Saginaw Street
Bay City.
The event will start at 8pm and end at 11pm (weather permitting).
This is an S.V.S.S. fundraiser attempting to host and entertain 100+ members from the Michigan Alliance for Outdoor Environmental Education Conference. This conference is being held across the street at the Delta College Planetarium. This is a weekend event where Pat Race, Andrew Thibodeau, and Mariah McClean will being giving presentations. S.V.S.S. presents “A Global Climate Change Forum.”
The event will be held at CMU at the Park Library Auditorium from 4pm-6pm.
After the event will be a S.V.S.S. fundraiser from 7pm-9pm. The fundraiser will be held at Cheers 1700 W. High Street Mt. Pleasant and includes food and a special presentation from Peter Sinclair. $25.00 preregistration. 350 Events for October 2011 center on working on individual projects that promote clean energy and the reduction of the burning of fossil fuels.
